I've always been a big fan of 1980's horror films and the amazing make-up effects artists behind them since I was a kid. Admiring the greats that made me want to get into this industry in the first place like Rick Baker, Stan Winston, and Rob Bottin.

I wanted to do a werewolf for a while now and this was my conceptual interpretation at a Howling wolf from the 1981 classic.

This is a sketch from a while back. A friend of mine from work came up with this really cool idea to generate categories for a concept theme at random. A handful of us were able to jump in and participate. We had a week to do it. This was good fun!

The theme for this one ended up being:

Medium sized mech or robot
inspired by World War 1 or 2
in space.
Purple must be used in the color pallet

This was my preliminary design sketches & final.
